The Kelvin Mode (K) can be considered partially manual and partially preset. There are photographers who swear by this method but I find it to be more efficient for studio photographers who require extreme accuracy. You haven’t actually taken an image but the camera uses this information as a reference when adjusting the Color Temperature.
